That's affirmative Socr8s.
Or do you need it for an SST-member who wants to come on a late call?
I haven't got a definite yes from Christopher Young that he will join us for the concert, but in that case it would be for another composer who was willing to join us.
No definite name yet, depends on who will be our second guest at our meeting I guess.
Several names have already passed by: Elliott Goldenthal, George Shaw,
Reinhold Heil, Kevin Kleisch and Jo Blankenburg. Or maybe even one of the Saturday FoFGM-guests if needed. _________________

I want to know which visitors to the Labour Day Meeting still need a ticket for the Fans of Filmmusic Meeting on Saturday, Sep,1
I agreed with the organisor that I would take all orders here on forum and then order them all at once. Tickets cost $21.
Shortly I will get a deadline date so let me know asap. |

I am very close to pulling the trigger on this thing... will there be anyone coming in on Friday 8-31, or leaving Monday 9-3 out of LAX that would be willing to let me bum a ride with them to the BLVD in a rental car or split a taxi/shuttle? Is there even a shuttle out of that hotel? |

SSTEvents....I am interested in the FoF panel as well! Count me in please, if it's not too late.
Istagi...how do you have your concert tickets already?! I thought socr8's had them. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I don't want to get out there and realize I don't have my ticket!
Gert...I emailed the hotel to see if they had a suggestion on how to get from the airport to the hotel, so I will let you know if I hear back from them. In the meantime, I poked around here a bit, maybe you can find some helpful info: http://www.lawa.org/welcome_lax.aspx?id=132

Also, for anyone flying into Burbank, here is a link to their ground transportation info: http://www.burbankairport.com/parking/buses-trains.html
That's for buses and trains, but there is another link on the page for shuttles and taxis as well. _________________ The journey of one thousand miles begins with a single step. |

OK sorry to keep spamming...this looks like it might even be more helpful. You can put in your trip info and it can spit out which train line to take, how long the trip will take, and the cost.

And of course after I post such a question, fate shoves me back to earth... So, stuff happened, and Gert can't go this year. Being a grown-up is fun!
Thanks anyway for the info and offer to split the room, Viola! Please take me off any lists, list-keepers, and thanks for trying to include me in the plans.
Oh, well. Have fun, all! |
