I wish Mrs Iwan a quick relief and healing, while being together in hospital.

Hi all kind SST-Friends,
thanks for all your nice wishes en thougts and even prays(don't ask  )
As predicted we were several times at the hospital. Mostly to make appointments for the surgery-day, Thursday 22 august. All looks ok for now, al the tests show the cancer is only located at a small part of the body. This can change when they 'open' her up, but we are optimistic.
And we also had some nice holiday-events. We visited Belgium by bike and car. We really had a nice time en enjoyed ourselfs.

update:
today, 22 of august, was the surgery. We did not see a doctor yet, but everything looks ok. She was awake, but very tired. A few moments ago me and my son left her to get some sleep. Tomorrow I can take her home, so she can relax and recover at home.
Next week wil get results from the surgery. It looks okay now and we are having a good feeling about the rest.
Thanks for al your nice wishes, candles en prays. So far they were an enormeus support.

"Good" to see a positive update Iwan! Still so sorry you are having to go through this. Your wife sounds like a strong lady though, and with you as a support pillar and good doctors, she can keep fighting.
