That was hilarious!
The only thing missing was a segment on people who only post to increase their "rank." You know, the ones who have nothing to say, but feel they have to keep postng and posting to get more posts...as if that gives them more credibility or something. |

Bear in mind:
1) Cocles has made the post sticky, so it will be displayed prominently at the top of the list of threads. No one has an excuse that they couldn't see it.
2) The post's title is "Watch this or be eaten alive. Period." which should ensure that everyone (especially newbies) pay attention to it and watch it carefully.
3) The flash file linked provides useful information in an amusing and enjoyable way. It's like Cocle's Newbie FAQ in that respect.
So the answer to your question is OF COURSE NOT! No one seems to pay attention to any of the other posts about posting etiquette that match these criteria, why do you think they'll start now? |
