While I did my fair share of alcohol abuse in college. I must say the wildest thing I ever did, I did completely sober. I wrestled in Cherry Jell-o as a freshman. It was for a fundraiser. It was certainly a fun experience. _________________ I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music. I could never do that sober no matter what. _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

Come on Harry, this thread is not depressing. College is a good way to have lots of fun memories for later. Enjoy and good luck for your exams! _________________ Always wondered what a French photo album could look like?

Well a few months have passed since I ate those 17 poor little goldfish. I would love to say that I feel guilty, but I try not to lie. So living in Minnesota can get kind of crazy with the weather. Some days are downright cold!! So I've done a couple dumb things with this weather. I wore flip-flops and walked out onto the lake (which was still frozen). My feet nearly fell off they were so cold! And then earlier this week I decided not to dry my hair. I walked to breakfast and by the time I got there, my hair was frozen. Yeah, that was really smart _________________ "All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you." - Gandalf the Grey |

so do you have a t-shirt that reads "I is a collage studient"?
obi- I know what you mean about community college... a bunch of boring sticks-in-the-mud. _________________ "It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near him." ~ J.R.R. Tolkien

This thread being entitled "What crazy/stupid stuff did you do in College/University?", I guess my answer would be "start my PhD"...
just kidding...

lol Schroddie... don't worry, I've got those grad school scars too.
Incidentally, since this is my first post in quite a while, let me just take a quick moment to say hello to everybody! It looks like I'm going to be on the move quite a bit until September (and not always in easy reach of an internet connection), but I'll be sure to drop in to say hi every now and then. |
