Holy cow, over 300 new members in the last two weeks alone! To what do we owe this recent growth? The recent publicity? The new upgraded site? Whatever the reason, it's nice to see the word getting out. (Especially nice since the queue has remained a reasonable length). At member #212 I'm starting to feel like an old man! We should be over 1000 members in no time! |

The requests are only available for memebers now. I think that might explain why so many are signing up these days. _________________ Who is General Failure and why is he reading my disk? |

I agree, I think the surge is due to the fact that you must be a member in order to request. However, it seems that there was a significant increase in members before that was implemented. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

I didn't realize that, but I think that's the main reason.
If I looked at myself, I discovered SST in october 2002. I was searching for online radiostations in SHOUTcast and accidentally stumbled on SST. Since then I'm a big fan and naturally, now I'm a member. Otherwise I couldn't request music. And that's one of the many reasons I'm here.
(BTW Keep up the good work. I love the new site.) _________________ In a world without justice, one man was chosen to protect the innocent. |

I told all my friends about it. I found it on shoutcast.
Anyway..
Would it be possible to have a small ad type thing that people could put on their website that says what song is playing, click here to tune in blah blah? |

It's very sucky that my internet provider (cable) has a download limit of 10 GB / month...
So I can't listen to StreamingSoundtracks all the time |

As indicated above, I found I could not request music without joining .
I have been a long time listener and requester. Saw no prior reason to register.
Love this site though.
Well Done Jeric and support team
Hate the label newbie though... can't that be changed to "New Friend" or "New Arrival" or "New Music Expert", lol. Come on guys get creative, but avoid "Stupid New Guy"
Thanks
