It's that time of year again! This marks the 3rd Annual John Williams Hollywood Bowl Event.
It got moved to a new month this year. SEPTEMBER. Why? I don't know. Group sales for this event begin on January 26th. Collections for moneys begins soon. Normally what I've done in the past is collect money from people who are definitely coming. I reserve 30 tickets ahead of time so we can also get the picnic area. They want 30% down, which is essentially the cost of 10 tickets. So by being the initial 10 people, you're guaranteed a ticket plus you help out everyone that's still deciding by giving them more time.

Ordered 10 tickets and as of now, 5 are claimed. The cost is $37.38 a ticket. That covers tax, service charge and paypal fees. I can always order more tickets later, just hope they'll all be together.
Unfortunately, we don't have the same seats as last year. Those were "reserved" for subscribers. I told them we'd like to upgrade later on if we can. So for now, we're in K2 Row 11. Look forward to seeing you all again.

Although it was great to be there last year. It looks like I will be in Canada in that period visiting my uncle and aunt with my parents.
Plans are that we will make a tour in and around Ontario.
I propbably will regret not to go this year to JW. But I have promised my parents I would take them to Canada in that period this year to visit my fathers sister.
If something changed or maybe I can plan it so there is time to go to LA for a quick visit, I will let you know.
But as of this moment I will say that I will not come.

Just spoke to my parents, who I will make a little tour in Canada (see a previous post of mine).
I am almost certain now that I will 'drop' my parents a few days with my aunt and uncle, and I will fly from Toronto to LA for that weekend (probably arriving friday and leaving on sunday or monday).
So hereby I want 1 JW ticket please.

Since my cousin had the poor taste to get married the same weekend as JW last year, I will *definitely* make it this year! If I have to miss my *own* wedding! (Though that would first require a groom...) |

Well if you have found a groom, be sure your honeymoon is in LA
And I will ask John Williams he want to play The Wedding Of Officer Torres from The Terminal or Thwarted Wedding from Jane Eyre (1970) for you and your groom

Well as I'm sure there's much interest, I only have 1 confirmed for coming. Maybe this won't be as big as last year so what I might end up doing is just ordering 10 tickets. I'll reserve more if 7 more people say yes within 2 weeks (which will probably be next time I log on.... no I doubt it). |

I won't be attending this year. Trying to save up and be good. This year is pretty up in the air and there will be lots of big life changes going on. So yeah.
