64k aacPlus stream seems to have problems. When I try to listen to it using VLC Media Player (version 0.9.9) I get a sample of music (about 30 seconds) that keeps repeating itself. (And no, I don't even recognize the music ).
I tried it several times with the same result.
This does not happen when using 32k aacPlus, it works fine.
I haven't tested 64k aacPlus with Windows Media Player or Winamp because I have not installed the required plugins.
128k Ogg stream works also fine with VLC.
When I have more time I'll install the plugins and test this further on WMP and Winamp. |

Hi GalFin,
I confirm the issue; it's a general issue with the 64k AAC stream. The problem has been reported to 'higher instances'
Thanks for reporting it! |

P.S.: the track you can hear is James Newton Howard - Waterworld - Why Aren't You Rowing?
And well, I'm rowing al day long |

Hi Alchemist,
Thank you for the quick reply and confirming this issue. I was wondering if the problem was only at my end.
And thanks also for clarification about the music sample. It was really bugging me that I couldn't identify it . |

I think we've seen this issue before, but can't recall any of the details. Sorry. I'm sure that pesa has/will look(ed) into it.
