The New World (Terrence Malick) and The Black Dahlia (De Palma).
I really don't care about Pirates of the Caribbean 2 or 3 ! First one bored me after 30 minutes... |

Probably the dvd of Kong ( 2005 ). Not real excited about most of the holywood product these days. Too many comic book ( literally ) movies.
Much easier to watch 1970's movies over and over again. IMHO. |

I want to see this just because it is the Wachoskis' first effort since wrapping up the Matrix trilogy. I am curious to see if they will have the magic with a new IP like they did with the first Matrix. _________________ The length of a film should be directly related to the endurance of the human bladder.

Well, Pirates, tho I doubt they can re-capture the magic from the first one, and Lady in the Water.
But has it struck anyone else how many movies on here are sequels?

I'm looking forward to Mission Impossible 3. I love that kind of movie. I'm a little worried though, because MI 2 wasn't amazing.
I'm interested to see what Michael Giacchino puts out for a score too. I have high hopes for it. |

Yep, Mission Impossible for me too - mainly because I want to see how much longer Tom Cruise can keep fooling us into thinking he's 25 still.
Also, I agree Optimis, should be really interesting to hear Giacchino's score. I think it's a great opportunity for him!
Also want to see Da Vinci Code and X-men 3 but as the last film I saw in the cinema was Final Fantasy there probably isn't much chance.
You never know... maybe this year I'll get back to the cinema... |

@OptimisprimalX: I do agree, I saw the first MI movie and it was great. Great action, betrayal, unexpected turnarounds, good music - but the second movie was a disapointment.
I saw a trailer of X-Men and it seems to have promise. But actually that is the mission of a trailer and for MI3 it is a "mission impossible" for me! So wait and see... |
