I don't like to announce stuff like this but lately we haven't been reaching our donation goals. We're getting close to the end of the month and we're not even at 50% yet. We're in danger of losing some services if we don't meet the goal this month. If you have been thinking of donating for a while and haven't yet, now is the time to do it.
Thank you so much to everyone who has donated this month and ever! _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

I hope that lower level of donations is just an effect of vacation (holiday) period and that it will get better soon.
BTW: My little piece of support is en route to SST. (check my yesterday's e-mail about it JERIC, please) _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

OK, so let me just be clear about this: The donations via PayPal are the only ones that show up on the Donation Meter? Donations of Amazon.com gift certificates or Live365 VIP memberships are not included in that total?

That is right. The donation meter pays our bandwidth and Live365 fees. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

Just a note to clarify things...
The "Black Tuesday" outage that just happened was not because of money - at least as far as Jeric and SST are concerned. The bandwidth provider went down so Jeric signed on with a new one.
That's the good news. The bad news is that the "new" bandwidth is more expensive. Some listeners are aware of this, and hence the donations have started pouring in.
Bless you all! You are the greatest family, fans, and supporters in the world! |

I'm not sure what the record is, but I do know that we received a $1000 donation for a new server not to long ago. I'd guess that's our largest single donation.

Pheewwww! And I thought it went down because so many people were making requests in honor of my 30th birthday! Well, that's a load off...

I can't thank everyone enough for their support. I am just so amazed at the SST community. It's you guys that make this place so great to be around. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

If we make the meter read $2000 by the end of the month, then I'll post a video of me dancing to one song of SST community's choice. Poll to come, in the off chance the donations make it to $2000 this month. _________________ Was that an earthquake, or did I just rock your world? |

So if it gets to $2500 do we get to see Jeric's face? _________________ "It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near him." ~ J.R.R. Tolkien

ZZZZZZ. Ribbit. ZZZZZZ.
Spoiler: Yes, I know it's now broken up, but perhaps we can get JERIC to return it to it's long form for this special occasion. |
