If you buy only one Jerry Goldsmith album...

... then this is the one to get.

This is Jerry Goldsmith’s definitive performance and interpretation of his signature sci-fi works. The Royal Scottish National Orchestra is conducted by the composer himself, so the performances are authoritative and in some cases better than the originals. The CD is of superior quality and has been encoded in Lossless format here on SST.
