Hey Everyone,
I saw that Jim_A had created a forum post about his novel and if you haven't checked it out go here, http://jamesallder.wordpress.com/ I got your back Jim.  So since Jim did one, I thought I would let the people of SST know about Carny Reunion. 
In 2003, a friend of mine and I had talked about putting together a web-comic. We loved Penny Arcade, Homestar Runner and others of the time and wanted to do our own. That's right, fame and fortune were ours for the taking, but my friend moved to Japan and stayed there for several years. Durning one of his Christmas visits we began to develop ideas for a comic. Imagine a robot with the mind and voice of Winston Churchill developed by the Mexican government bent of world domination. That was the future! But he went back to Japan and despite advances in technology and the ability to communicate worldwide in an instant, we got lazy and didn't do anything about it. Until now...
After the tsunami/earthquake in Japan my friend returned home and it was time! We got an artist to design a banner/logo for us and we wrote like fiends! We got a few other artist friends to draw up some comics, even attempting some ourselves. You'd probably be able to pick out the one I did... good from afar but far from good, but our friends provided great art! The site was born and much like Frankenstein's monster it is unstoppable... unless you have pitchforks and fire.
Recently, SST's very own SIN55 has joined the team providing artwork of extraordinary detail and awesomeness. SIN55's first comic will be posted this coming Thursday. Thanks Sin!
I should probably mention that it is a PG rated site.
