Holy smoke... quite a few suggestions there... nothing correct, though
It's neither Mark Knopfler nor John Barry, Chris Botti or Mark Isham. This score was composed by a well-known composer, though. Here's another sample from the same score. |

We have a winner!
Congratulations, Mr. Cochrane
...and I just noticed that it isn't available on SST. What a shame.
Next sample please |

Here's a new and easy track.
----------------------------------------------------------
Four easy steps to create a mystery-track:
1. extract a CD track with Exact Audio Copy (write the track as a WAV to your hard drive)
2. install Lame MP3 for Audacity
3. cut out the part you need from the WAV file with Audacity and then save that sample in MP3 format
4. upload the MP3 sample to some provider like (kiwi6.com)
(all of the mentioned software is available for free)

Tonks is right, of course!
It's the "Main Title" from Gettysburg by Randy Edelman.

Very good, Tonks. Mancini it is. But it isn't Hatari's "Baby Elephant Walk". |
