We have a date for the rest of Series 6: August 27. Can't wait.
UPDATE: Silly me, I forgot the trailer:

So, what do people think of the second half of the series so far? I'm disappointed, frankly. I know, I know, there's no pleasing me sometimes, but after loving the first two episodes, back in April, it's just been kinda going downhill for me and making me miss the days of Tennant.
Of course, his Doctor ticked me off, too, but that's another story. _________________ I'm writing a novel in verse. 236 stanzas so far, 5 chapters completed, 64.5% the length of Eugene Onegin. Goal: Finish it (250-ish stanzas) by May 31.
I hope I'm not bugging people by posting over and over in this thread. Well, if no one's interested, no one will read, that's all there is to it.
The most recent ep, "The God Complex," went a long way toward restoring my faith in the series. I guess that was a pun, given the plot, but anyway, I liked it.
Spoiler:
When the Doctor broke down Amy's faith in him, I think the writers did the same for us in the audience. And it was a long time coming. Now I can give up on hoping that some things will be made right, and take what comes. I suppose that finding this comforting says something about me. But it's good to see the writers acknowledge that the Doctor has been less-than-wonderful, instead of having Amy constantly worship him, despite him losing her baby, abandoning her for 12 years as a child, dropping her in an alternate timestream for 36 years, or losing her baby.

For those who are interested, the Doctor Who: Worlds in Time game is in previews.
Did anyone watch "Asylum of the Daleks" this weekend? I wasn't expecting too much, but I was hoping it might wash the bad taste left by Series 6 out of my brain. I'm not sure it did much on that score, but otherwise it was an enjoyable episode. _________________ I'm writing a novel in verse. 236 stanzas so far, 5 chapters completed, 64.5% the length of Eugene Onegin. Here I am, another DW fan It's been broadcasted in Italy for 3-4 years now, but the original voices are half of the fun! I loved Eccleston's eyes and leather jacket, I was blown away by Tennant's acting talent (and his funny videos with Catherine Tate, John Barrowman and the crew are also a must-see!). I'm starting to like Matt Smith's doctor, even if the plot in season 6 is starting to become more and more complicated to follow. Can't wait to reach season 7 and watch it once a week
Wow, thanks for the link! I love watching and listening to this kind of stuff. _________________ I'm writing a novel in verse. 236 stanzas so far, 5 chapters completed, 64.5% the length of Eugene Onegin. Goal: Finish it (250-ish stanzas) by May 31.
