My father is taking me and my 7-year-old who has become very interested in Star Wars over the last year or so. It is pricey, but I'll let the grandparent splurge.

After years of reading posts from SST folks in parts of the country where ST concerts are actually held... I am extremely excited one of these is coming to Florida. I'm super excited and will be going on Nov.1 to the Tampa show! =)

Wow, concert in my city TONIGHT! If only I had checked the tour dates earlier I could possibly have made it. Have fun Cyberbrain, Genpoint, and ArchitRen, and everyone else who's going! Be sure to post a quick review!

Except for falling after the concert and breaking my foot, it was a great time.
It is as much an event as a concert. There is an orchestra and the music is great. There are also large video screens showing film scenes related to the music. Some dialog is played during some of the sections (gotta get in some phrases); it didn't bother me except for the droid segment where it was a bit too frequent.
The concert is divided up into themes like "the droids", Luke & Leia, and the like.
It is an exciting event with an energetic audience. Lots of kids. I did wish for it to go on.
There are some displays of costumes and some props. Also some videos of the special effect work as well. And I saw one display case with original music in John Williams' hand with the notes and instructions for the many instruments.
It was, perhaps, more entertainment than music, but Star Wars is much more than just a movie, isn't it. |

I got to see this back in June, GREAT EVENT!
Not only is it the great scores by John WIlliams, but it's even hosted by Anthony C3P0 Daniels who does well as a story teller. On top of that, the lobby will have costumes and props on display! Having grown up on SW music, scores like YODA'S THEME, THE SKYWALKERS, and the THRONE ROOM gave me the chills, and even got my eyes a little wet  |

I've been to the concert some months ago when the event was in Belgium (Sportpaleis) and OMG did I enjoyed it !!!! I fel't again like the 4y old boy who just discovered SW as his first movie ever seen when he was visiting family on a camping and was overwhelmed by the beauty and greatness of a cinema "theater"....
It was awesome! tickets where pretty expensive, but worth every penny!!! There were moments i had the chills and even got at a certain moment tears in my eyes... this is a must see event!
I hope someday this event will be available on dvd or br-> means insta buy!
