Attic - That was Hendricks,
of course! lol
Great to see you, Don! We
really miss you around here!
Thanks for the sentiments.
Really, that goes for everyone!
This week, I have had the flu,
so no visit to the hospital but
I can tell you that the wound
is almost closed. Of course,
I must remember that this
is the external reality. The
fact is that internally, there
are injuries that have/will take
longer to heal. I am sitting
down, for instance but I cannot
shift my weight. I cannot push
away with my right foot. I
cannot do a full squat. Things
like this are going to linger
as a muscle was cut and
muscle/tissue detached and
then re-attached. There is a
knot in there that I can feel.
I have to be patient.
The hard thing is not being
able to beat the sh-- out of
the drums, which is a primary
outlet for my pressures and
frustrations. Without them,
I am 100% more volatile.
Anyways, that is a current.
Love you guys!!!

We love you too, Pete! It must be frustrating not being as active, but it'll take time to heal. Glad that things are looking up! |

Well, visited surgeon: today.
The wound has closed. It is
official. The long Phase One
is done. I am doing every-
thing I did before. Call it
95%. He likes the look. I
am working, driving, playing
the drums etc. It feels good.
Next, will be the oncology,
which will only include rad-
iation but I may wait until
the new year. I will see.
Anyway, there is no need
to go on. It's been quite
a ride to now.
I missed last week's update
because I had a flash flu.
A couple of days and it was
gone. I skipped the visit.
Thanks, again, for all the
support.
Regards,

Oh, wow, it's great to hear that you even can play the drums again I really can understand how it must feel when you can't do something that you love to do.
Wonderful that you are nearly back to normal, you really deserve it, my friend |

Holiday cheer to all of you!
I can't tell you what it meant
to have you cheer me on, when
the going was really, really tough.
I am not kidding. From afar, it
can look safe and that everything
is OK but in the flesh, it is not
always that way. You were
really there for me and now,
I wish you the miracle Xmas
that you have given me.
*heart*

Thank you, Irini and everyone, again.
Today, the next phase begins, with a
trip to the oncologist and the discussion
about the radiation treatments.
Scan (local), Thursday. The area is
mapped for/by physicist and they study
it. Probably start the treatments next
week. It will be 6-weeks, 5 days a
week, each day taking about 15 min.
It will take a 30% recurrence probability
down to 10%. I have to do that trade.
I will have a little more hardening of
the wound and that area and it might
be tanned and reddened but there
should not be any real impediments
as a result of the treatment.
He liked my range of motion and
did say that the lateral muscle was
going to take some time in healing.
There it is. We begin, again.
Regards,
