|
In Krakow will be concert with music from PIXAR films. It is not connected with FMF (well, a bit, by organisation, but it isn't this event), but still it seems to be nice. I know that time is very inconvenient if somebody works, but still...
Anybody want to go? I will be there, so when I'll be buying tickets, I can buy more. Anyone?

Tempting, but I'm afraid the budget doesn't allow me to go there. _________________

There's a concert with Pixar music (the same?) in Paris the 22nd of June. But I won't be there cause my daughter is dancing on stage at the same time. _________________ There is no problem that can't be solve without any solution |

Hi, any comments about venue? I read Krakow Arena can take almost 15.000 people. Is this place comfortable for listening? How about the sound? |

Desmo shared his opinion with me (offline) that the sound experience wasn't flawless. He mentioned that the sound echoed a bit during the concert. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

from where we were sitting [the flat part of the audience in the middle] i didn't notice any issues. but maybe i wasn't paying enough attention. anyways, nothing annoyed me.
as to the venue itself: it was HUGE. when we entered from the ground level [i think it was the ambulance gate] my mouth dropped so low. it was a WOW. as an architect i liked it a lot [especially with all the construction of the roof visible @_@ ].
experiencing a concert with a sea of little children was also something _________________ DRAGON SICKNESS |

I wasn't sitting in the front of the stage, but on the left side so that could be a reason of echo which you could hear while somoeone was talking on the stage). Despite of that quality of sound was very high.
Krakow Arena is as Ola said huge and quite comfortable. Dynamic colorful light effects was also great. Arena is designed rather for sport events than concerts, so the best places to seat is in the flat part of the audience in the middle.
I think that Krakow Arena is definitely much better place than previous FMF locations. |

As long as they keep organizing FMF in late September, Kraków Arena will be much more comfortable also for temperature reasons
BTW: Folks who are coming to FMF for the first time this year, be prepared for a possibility of low tempratures during the concerts at the steel mill location, please. You need to keep your warm clothes ready for those events. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,
