I don't think we have that many people in/near Dallas. Texas is huge, plus we don't have easy travel by trains. I thought there were quite a few people in the Virginia/Georgia/Maryland etc area, which might be easier for a few of us. Some of us are trying to plan going to Dragon Con in Atlanta next August/September. _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

Dutch, count me in for the London thing. I want to come to the concert and meet and greet. I have a place to stay--if I can just work out PTO from work and plane fare, I'm good to go. _________________ You see, madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push! |

Anything happening on the east coast (USA)? NYC a possibility. With Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and BAM to name a few. You'd think they'd be more happening. There might've one event with John William's score and I know Phillip Glass was part of a local festival. |

*pokes head in* Not all of us can have two months off work per year. And what Thur said about the transportation. Also, said transportation/board is not always cheap unless you schedule far in advance and maybe offer a sacrifice to the booking gods. Didn't we have a Chicago one a while back that had a good amount of people attend? Maybe that was 1980s.fm.
Thur- by 'some of us' do you mean there's a SST contingent going to Dragon Con? |

What Gert said about travel--the earlier we have dates and info, the better. US people can't just hop a train or a cheap flight from one country to the other.

yes Dragon Con. _________________ If you have it you don't need it. If you need it you don't have it. You need it to get it and you certainly need it to get more of it. Which means you don't have it to begin with people just know. |
