While I thought this haunting score complemented the film fantastically, most of it is sort of minimalistic, slow underscore, so I probably wouldn't add it. |

Alright, I have just finished listening to this and I will agree with everything zir said. It works nice on film but as a listening experience it is very underscore-ish. There are brooding textures which rise and fall over a long period. It's ok if you're listening to one track but when it's happening in all cues then it gets boring after a point.
There's a long cue in another Julyan score- The Descent (which we already have) which is quite similar to this. |
