The full title of the concert was: Joystick 7.0 - Classic Version
And the programme turned out to be a bit different:
The Planets: Mars by Gustav Holst
Final Fantasy - Final Fantasy Main Theme by Nobuo Uematsu
Tetris - Suite
Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy by P. I. Tchaikovsky
Asura's Wrath - New World Symphony (Movement number 4 from A. Dvořák's Symphony No. 9)
Grand Theft Auto 4 - Soviet Connection by Michael Hunter
Polovtsian Dance by Alexander Borodin
Mass Effect 2 - Suicide Mission by Jack Wall
Night on Bald Mountain by Modest Mussorgsky (used in Kingdom Hearts)
The Evil Within - Clair de Lune (by Claude Debussy)
Angry Birds - Main Theme by Ari Pulkkinen
Candy Crush Soda Saga - Suite by Johan Holmström (composer lives in Malmö and was present in the audience)
Catherine - Catherine Medley (medley of Georges Bizet/Frederick Chopin/Gioachino Rossini/Modest Mussorgsky music)
World of Warcraft - Seasons of War by Jason Hayes
Main theme from Battlefield 3 video game by Jukka Rintamäki and Johan Skugge
Final Fantasy 8 - Liberi Fatali
Encore:
Carmina Burana by Carl Orff
Best performances IMHO were:
Battlefield
Carmina Burana
Mass Effect
Concert was good but for me we had a bit too much of classical music.
This time the show was without regular charismatic host - Orvar Säfström so Charles Hazlewood (the conductor) did the host part too (suddenly I could undersand what the talking between tracks is about!).
And all the tracks were better than Video Games Live concert last year, Cal. We had full orchestra plus this year we also had a nice choir in Malmö! _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

Yeah I had a concert as well where they did classical stuff as well. In my case those were better than the medleys they did in the second half |

I'm on 'Maybe' too.
Depends again on the organization.
Although I know that OmeSjakie wanted to go.
So I probably end up there again
It will be around the same time again as the 'Hollywood in Vienna' event.
Here, James Newton Howard will be the guest. _________________

HEY GUISE
IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM ROYAL ALBERT HALL, LONDON
Concerning the Titanic Live concert. I got this via email.
14 April 2015
Dear Customer,
Titanic Live, Monday 27 April
Thank you for booking tickets to see Titanic Live at the Royal Albert Hall.
We are writing to let you know that due to a shoulder injury, James Horner will be unable to conduct at this event. The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra will now be conducted by Ludwig Wicki. However, James Horner will be giving a pre-performance Q&A session with Titanic's producer, Jon Landau, exploring the challenges and processes of composing the music for the film. Your ticket automatically gains you entrance to this event, which will take place in the main auditorium.
The planned schedule for the evening is below:
5pm Doors open
5:45pm Interview and Q&A with James Horner and Jon Landau, hosted by Tommy Pearson
6:30pm Interval
7pm Titanic Live
10:30pm (approx) Show ends
There will be a 20 minute interval during the film.
Please note that if you have purchased a car parking voucher for Imperial College this will now be valid from the earlier time of 5:15pm.
Three of our restaurants (Verdi - Italian Kitchen, Coda Restaurant and Elgar Bar & Grill) will now be open from the earlier time of 4pm. If you have booked a restaurant your original reservation is still valid. If you would like to move or cancel your reservation please phone us on 0845 401 5034 (open daily 9am - 9pm).
If you have any queries please contact the Box Office on 0845 401 5034.
We look forward to welcoming you.
Yours faithfully,
Royal Albert Hall _________________ You see, madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push! |

Due to a malfunctioning email account I was not able to certify a composer as guest for a meet & greet in London. This won't stop us of course for having a meet & greet amongst ourselves.
Depending on everyone's plans we can hold this on Sunday or on Monday previous to the James Horner Q&A.
If things still might change I'll let you all know _________________

Meet up for the Titanic concert today at 4pm. In front of the Royal Albert Hall.
We'll meet all members there for a drink and eventually go for a short dinner in the neighborhood as the Q & A will start as early as 5.30pm. |

This year SST will have a Meet & Greet again with composers and FMF Krakow visiting members. The photo gives an overview of the meeting in 2013 with Don Davis,Thomas Bryła,Bartosz Chajdecki and Maciek Dobrowolski
This year invitees are: Laurent Eyquem , Nicklas Schmidt , and we hope Jeff Beal and Matthijs Kieboom are able to join us too.
Plan is to have the Meet & Greet on sundaymorning in Pauza in Garden again.
But that is still to be confirmed.
