I voted yes, but honestly, this sounds like a gimme. Whenever we see the next playlist update, and I hope it's soon, because it's been over three months) I'm sure it'll be there. I'm not sure about this one... guess the music was just as pompous and glittery as the whole film, but not bad at all. And Helena Bonham Carter sings Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo - so why not add it? |

But I really am on the fence:
- either this film (and score) is so disgustingly overdoing it that you have to hate it
- or it is just colourful, rich and stereotypical enough to hammer home what a fairy tale should feel like
and the more I think about it I realise it is the second choice for me. Especially because of all the little gimmicks in the film (e.g. Rob Stark as the prince, Disney princess dresses at the ball) |
