Straight after the WSA in Gent, Belgium there will be an interesting double concert in Prague.
Czech Philharmonic will be playing conducted by Fernando Velazquez.
Still tickets available. Michael Giacchino will be present.

I will be there, if you want to join me let me know.

The 3 Musketeers have plans to go to the premiere weekend of "Raiders of the lost ark" LIVE in concert.
We will be celebrating Siri's birthday there and meet with
Conductor and SSt-friend Ludwig Wicki.
If there are enough people wanting to join us, we can make a meeting out of it.

Wicki will conduct the 21st century Symphony orchestra in Luzern, Switzerland on Friday Dec,4th (sold out) and Sunday 6th.

Aaah this is tempting, Lucerne is not so far away... However I've no clue what my planning will be. Are you going to the concert the 1st (sold out) day?

After a nice concert in Barcelona with Star Wars combined with great choir pieces (see forumpost Sirius" concerts)
I flew to Prague for the above mentioned Michael Giacchino concert.

Here is the program:

Medal of Honor - Suite
The Incredibles - Suite
Cloverfield - Roar!
Jupiter ascending - Arranged marriage World Premiere
Ratatouille - Suite
Dawn of the planet of the apes - Suite
Jurassic World - Suite World Premiere

---intermission---
Mission Impossible III/IV - A man,a plan, a code - Dubai - Variations on the Schifrin MI theme.
Lost - Suite
John Carter - Main theme - Tharks - Princess Deja - Therns - Time to go
Inside out - Suite World Premiere
Star Trek - Main theme

Extra:
Tomorrowland - Suite

A full power concert with standing ovations afterwards for percussion, trumpets and horns and the fabulous young Japanese conductor Chuhei Iwasaki who had the right feel for the bombastic pieces and kept almost perfect pace.
Letting a symphony orchestra sound as a big band is not easy, especially not when playing the Incredibles suite.

I'm starting to get definite dates and names on several events that SST will be involved with.

I'll try to put as much as possible on this topic, but maybe an admin can change the title to Agenda 2016.

APRIL-JUNE 2016

We are still negotiating with the agency to have our stand at all venues, but as there are many members going to the Hamburg concert it's likely to have a SST gathering there. If there's a lot of interest we might look into a possibility to have a SST Meet & Greet although that might be hard to do since it is on a wednesday

JUNE,5TH

Great David Arnold concert with composer present.
SST Meet & Greet is being discussed at the moment.
Rudolfinum, Prague [Czech Republic]

SEP,4TH (also on Sep,2nd and 3rd)

The Famous John Williams Hollywood Bowl concert in Los Angeles, USA.
Info on tickets will follow.
There will be a Fans of Film Music Meeting on saturday and a special SST Meet & Greet on sunday morning. More info later.

SEP,24TH

Meet & Greet in London, Sep,24th
Names of guest composers are displayed here as soon as known.
Ticket sales starts at Apr,4th via the Tadlow music website.
Only 70 places available on first come, first buy basis.

Okay, seriously. Whoever made this, stop using apostrophes to create plurals! And "Present's" doesn't even make sense.
