I don't know where to put it, so I will leave it here:

Very Happy The BD from Joe Hisaishi's concert in Budokan just arrived from Japan, so many great tracks performed with full orchestra, choir and solo-performances, including one short performance by Hayao Miyazaki and John Lassiter Very Happy
I guess I'm spoiled for future concerts Embarassed

My visit to Smecky Music Studio in Prague came with a nice present from James Fitzpatrick (Tadlow Music)

It is in presales now and will be released in a couple of weeks:

For more info check out Tadlow's homepage:

To be available on SST with the next update:
The new album by our SST friend and member Bernhard P.Eder (bpewien)

This Award-nominated score for the Short Feature "Daydreamer" is really amazing as the movie itself has no dialogue
All tension comes from Bernie's music and the editing.
I've seen the movie and it really works splendid.

Bernhard will put the track list on his composer page and you can leave comments there as well.

As I'm working through the first 3 months of releases of 2016 few scores really stood out to me and ended up on my longlist for 2016.
Two of them I bought immediately:
"Brothers of the wind" by Sarah Class
"Luisa Spagnoli" by Paolo Vivaldi

The third one: "Miracles from heaven" came directly from the composer to me, thanks Carlo

I got myself treated with two scores I heard and admired from that time on.

Knielen op een bed violen by Dirk Brossé
Viaggio sola by Gabriele Roberto

First one is a dark, low key score with a finesse of violin, wonderful listen stuff.
The second is a light-hearted feel good score for a 2013 Italian comedy.

Got myself the 5 tracks from the new Gaigne soundtrack for "El Olivo"
Superb material with hints of Nyman but with an overall genuine Gaigne sound.
We surely can use more of his great scores on SST.

The CD itself contains also a bunch of tracks from previous released and unreleased scores, but as I already owned half of those completely, that wasn't interesting for me. But it is good material if you want to have some different Gaigne scores on 1 album.
