Run a poll each month with a list of newly released "classic" expanded scores from the record labels, and have SST listeners vote for one each month for SST to add to the database.
For example, Varese Sarabande is releasing the 40th Anniversary Edition of The Omen this month, as well as Scream 2, Hellboy: The Deluxe Edition, and RoboCop 3. Let SST users vote on one title per month of these classic expanded titles. Titles that don't make the cut can be added on the next month, or maybe skip a few months and bring it back a few months later. Either way, it gives SST users a chance to have more of a say in what they want to see added in terms of older film scores. |

IF people are already interested in having classic scores added (and I think there is a discrepancy between us on the definition on that) they can use the Request Form on the forum to add an album.
But if I compare the number of requests from those we already have a regular album from with the mainstream albums that are popular in requesting then it seems not evident for me.
Looking further ahead (2017) to the possibility of having a second (Premium) channel that would actually allow more space for re-released classic scores (pre-80's) but that's not the category you mentioned.
I'll ask a moderator/admin to add this idea in your thread for having expanded scores. |
