Hey everyone,
as promised i am making a post about the Gala concert of the Filmmusiktage in Halle for this year.
The concert is on Saturday the 4th of November 2017 in Halle (in Germany - which has also a very interesting chocolate museum to visit  )
We could not get any concrete statements on the programme, but since it is an anniversary gala, we have been told to keep a look out for the Highlights of the previous years.
From our visit last year, we can also assume that the programme will again be leaning to "classical" soundtracks (as in... symphonic stuff without much VROOOOM) and will probably feature quite a few pieces that are not commonly known. (Last year i knew about 2 pieces of what was played alltogether)
About half of the Tickets are already sold. The venue has quite nice accoustics, so i would recommend we take tickets from the cheapest category. Those are approx. 30,50€ and still very available.
+1 and me are definitly going again.
we would be very happy if any of you guys would like to join us.
Please let me know soon, so i can get my hands on the appropriate amount of tickets.

A quick addition, just to make sure no one gets the wrong idea:
The Filmmusiktage will be held in Halle an der Saale, not any of the other places of the same name. |

You can count me in, got the weekend covered. I am now just checking out, if there are some local people i know from school time, who might be interested as well.
Also would be great if you ask them for a student discount

Edit: The peeps i know are interested, but would wait for the programme to be announced. |

I'm pretty sure there will be no programme announced... at least there was none last year. |

talked to the Filmmusiktage guys. There is a student discount, but their ticket shop recently broke down, so they'll tell me more about that as soon as they have fixed the issue  |

Update: If you buy the tickets outside of eventim, the cheapest tickets cost 25.00 € normal and 12,50 for students etc. |

So just as an addition, Jean Michel Bernard will be at the festival as well and give a piano concert with his wife singing and a cellist supporting him. (So propably quite similar to the one he gave in Krakow) This concert will be at Thursday Nov. 2nd at 19:30 so not hte best time for a spontaneous visit. I consider going there, since it is only an hour by train for me. Price is around 20€ for the concert, would anybody else be interested in joining me there? |

I’ll be there Daniel.
According to JMB a few songs have been replaced so it won’t be completely the same.
As he released his “JMB plays Lalo Schifrin” album expect more Schifrin in his program.
