Yes, count me in for saturday too please. No hotel rooms, that will prove fun ... Harley as in the motorcycles?

yup. the motorcycles.... there is bound to be a LOT of traffic in the city.
People i wrote down for saturday:
Fee, +1, Mol, Albi, Jade, Bir, Boris, (Dan), Sirius
Chocolate thing: Fee, +1, Ola, Cal, Albi, Sirius, Mol, Jade, Bir, Boris, Danleich, My Parents

I'm totally fascinated to see a Harley festival in Europe!! I've seen loads of biker groups here just never occurred to me that they get exported overseas, but now that i think of it, duh of course you all ride motorcycles over there too  This will be a fun weekend indeed. Im totally going to see if i can wander the festival area while there... i will do some looking in to this  Thanks Fee for headsup on this.

sorry for the long silence on my side, I plan to arrive on saturday as well, but i will visit some relatives during the day. I think i will make it to the dinner in the evening though i have to talk to my relatives first. Sunday would be whole day SST-time for me, so please count me in for the chocolate museum and the dinner on sunday, if it is not to late
Is somebody still looking for a hotel room and willing to share one? I still haven't booked mine and would go for the a&o hamburg city hotel (last time i checked ~80€ per person for two days ). So if you are interested, just pm me Otherwise i will book my room this Tuesday (06.02.) evening. |

With respect to accommodation: I was wondering if people had already booked their hotel and hostel in the city and if so which that would be? This is based on the assumption that we would all be staying in the same general area, which is the most convenient I guess, but without the need for an 'HQ' hotel.
If not then we might want to look into it relatively soon with the biker invasion going on that same weekend  |

If someone wants to room with me i promise i'll be a good room guest (i stayed with Andres in Astoria, he can vouch for me!!) I dont mind sharing a room...though i am not sure how all of you all feel about that  It would be cheaper (i'd think) at least... Just throwing out that idea

I have booked a hotel in the city center, pretty much within walking distance of the main train station, the convert venue, and most importantly what I believe to be the chocolate museum
There were still options available although definitely not as many as I would have expected (especially when it comes to room types), so I would encourage people to look into this pretty soon |
