Sooooooooooo... La-La Land is doing a huge 25% off store-wide sale right now. I maybe went a little crazy with it. :X
Titles:
John Williams - Home Alone - 25th anniversary, 2CD expanded edition
James Horner - Titanic - 20th anniversary box set
Mark Snow - The X-Files (tv) Vol.2 - box set
Mark Snow - The X-Files (tv) Vol.3 - box set
Mark Snow - The X-Files: Fight the Future (film) - expanded edition
Alan Silvestri - RED 2
All of these save the last have been on my wishlist for ages, and I'd just been waiting for a good sale. The other was on clearance for 4 bucks and as I was already ordering the rest I thought I'd add it on. Now I'm just waiting for delivery... then it's gonna be Christmas in July! |

I recently got my hands on the soundtrack of the Steins;Gate universe, be it the original visual novels or the anime!
The last one I found before that wasn't bought, because it wasn't for sale anywhere, and it was the soundtrack for the Ace Combat 5 game. |

Dragon - I'm slowly filling out my DW collection!
And this just arrived today. It was hard to even find a copy here so I wound up ordering it through Amazon FR and waiting for it to come across the ocean. It's short but a nice little jazzy score:
Serge Besset - Une vie de chat (2010)

I treated myself to both ‘Fantastic Beasts’ scores this month. Yay James Newton Howard! |

Ancient astronaut theorists say... yes.
It was somewhat an in-joke gift but actually it's not a bad score. Much of the music is by Dennis McCarthy (modern Trek tv shows) and it's somewhat in the vein of X-Files with its creepy / kooky / action aesthetic. |
