John Williams conducts surprise concert at Star Wars Celebration 2017
(I guess I probably don't have to add that I'm wildly jealous, ha!)

Going to be a Prom concert for JW on July 20th 2017. Unfortunately he won't be there but plenty of his music.

It is usually possible to listen to the Proms anywhere in the world via the BBC Radio website up to a week afterwards. |

Video of the music John has done for the new Star Wars area at Disney. _________________ The right song can turn an emperor into a laughing stock, can bring down dynasties. A song can last long after the events and people in it are dust and dreams are gone. |

Wonderful, Cal. I'm not sure what else there is to say about the final installment of the era of Star Wars scores by the maestro Williams.
I just saw the movie yesterday, and it will take two or three more viewings to take it all in and notice how the score works with the film. I did sit through the credits, and perhaps I missed it, but curiously I didn't see an original score credit. I saw Williams credited for orchestrations, which led me to believe perhaps there were no new themes in this last installment, but you seem to have laid that doubt to rest.
Now that the saga is complete, I heartily agree a fresh listen to all the albums is indeed in order!
