The BBC posted quite a nice piece on Video Games Music for anyone who's interested

Unfortunately the embedded videos with specific bits of music they are referencing can't be played outside the UK, but I guess you can find at least some of the tracks here.

Some facts were stated misleadingly, but eh, it's fine. In the second half of the article, I actually learnt quite a bit! I also liked the personal bits, especially Shimomura's at the end.  |
