The first two soundtracks have some point that doesn't match pretty well with the scene. I don't want to rememeber them, so don't ask please. But the last one fixed these details pretty well. |

Return of the King is my favorite! Every single track is a masterpiece.
I agree with those who mentioned the beacon scene. that scene ruled! |

Well, my choice, if I had to choose one of the three, would be ROTK as well. But as others have said the trilogy needs to be heard as a whole to appreciate all of the music.
The task that faced Shore must have been incredible - knowing that he was going to have to make the music feel continuous and make each score feel analogous with the others. It's a huge accomplishment really. |
