What a great thread! And Wow! how that list has grown over the past few years!

This is coming up in a week? Heard any new female composers that I should add to the list?
I see Pinar Toprak's music for Krypton is getting a release on that day. _________________ I have a book coming out. Wanna see it?

Today's the day. (Sorry I'm late; heck of a morning.) Unleash your requests!
I wonder. If we gave SAM the list of female composers, could it be programmed to pull from their works for a 24-hour period? _________________ I have a book coming out. Wanna see it?

@LadyI: In requesting from the list today I'm getting some blank search results from the links for a small solid block of composers:
Michiru Oshima
Zoe Poledouris-Roche
Jocelyn Pook
Rachel Portman
Sally Potter
The material is still here in the library - it's just that the links are not going straight to album / artist results. In comparing them to others in the overall list, I noticed that this little section was formatted slightly differently. Maybe redo your query wording for the links?
(I could fix these directly, but I'll leave the editing to you in case you have a particular way you'd like them done. So, just letting you know about them.) |

Tch, yeah, I noticed that today. Sorry about the inconvenience. Some of those links are probably old, leftover from a previous version
Honestly, Mojo, if you can and would like to fix them, be my guest. You can probably do it fast than I. And I thank you. _________________ I have a book coming out. Wanna see it?

Hildur Guðnadóttir won the Academy Award for Best Original Score this weekend. That makes her only the third female composer to win, and the first to do so in 23 years.
“To the girls, to the women, to the mothers, to the daughters, who hear the music bubbling within: please, speak up, we need to year your voices.” -- Hildur Guðnadóttir
Female Composer day is coming up in *does math* twenty-seven days. Let me know if there are any composers new to the playlist this year that I need to add to the master list at the top of this thread. _________________ I have a book coming out. Wanna see it?

In yesterday's / today's update there are two new albums by Nainita Desai, entitled For Sama and Untamed Romania.
There's also a new album by Miriam Cutler entitled Love, Gilda.
So that's just in time for female composer day
There might be other female composers in that update btw, but I haven't checked specifically, these are just the ones I happened to come across.

Thank you, LadyI!
In the meantime I've just found another two: the soundtrack of The Witcher TV series is by Sonya Belousova and Giona Ostinelli. |

Oh, woof, how did I forget The Witcher? Two ladies on one album. Thanks, Albi!
UPDATE: Herdis Stefansdottir! Gotta watch out for the feminine patronymic names! _________________ I have a book coming out. Wanna see it?
