My favorite Zimmer score was Gladiator until The Last Samurai came along. It is just so awesome. It should have gotten an Oscar nod.

Not very original, I know, but it would be Gladiator for me too. Especially because this score was the beginning of my collection of many other soundtracks.

Hey, isn't this topic the same as the Hans Zimmer poll earlier?

Well, for a long time it has been the Rock, but I haven't seen the Last Samurai yet, so stay tuned...

Well like Gladiator, but the Last Samurai is real close too.

INDEED, zirael! Daedalus, you need to read the forums more often rather than posting something that's already been done.

The initial forum on Hans Zimmer Soundtracks. (edited with updated URL)

Haven't heard Last Samurai yet, but my current vote goes to his Backdraft score. Those patriotic fireman marches make me want to stand up and salute. It also has a few introspective pieces that hit the right emotional buttons for me.

My favorite would have to be 'Gladiator' followed closely by 'The Last Samurai'
