I'm looking for the composer and the name of the score which contains the following piece of music:

Measure: 4/4
Tempo: about 90bpm
Key: C minor

Solo Trumpet: C D D C C - - - - - D - Eb - F - G - - D D -

accompanied by guitar and strings, if I remember correctly.

Sounds a bit like a Morricone western kind of piece to me. I've listened to a few of Morricone's scores, but I haven't found it yet. Could also be from "The Mexican" / "Desperado" or similar movies.

Any help would be appreciated!

Nope, but thanks. Smile

It's some kind of italo western music. It would fit perfectly on one of the "Kill Bill" CDs.

Shock, that does look a lot like Alan Silvestri's Mexico motif from "The Mexican." I'd look there first.

Hurr78: Now that's extremely close! Tempo, gesture and instrumentation are exactly like the ones from the piece I'm looking for. But - it's not the one. Melody and harmony are not the same...

But thanks for the tip!

Hi Smile

Shock, did you hear the track played on the site, trailer, commercial? some other movies with similar themes, Pulp Fiction, Once Upon a Time In Mexico (aka Desperado 2).
