lol. Well, unless I decide to open my own arcade, there's no way I'd spend $5000 on a pinball machine. But maybe if I scammed the selection committee of Marquette's Tolkien scholarship... hmm. "Research" in the form of pinball. There's some real possibilities there. |

I was wondering if any of you LOTR fans (or anti-LOTR fans) have read this book here or know if it's good or not. Sounds like a good read. _________________ "Get it?...Got it!...GOOD!" -- The Court Jester |

I read it years and years ago, Rob, so long ago that I can't really remember the detail. But I remember thinking that it was one of those forced parody novels that make you feel uncomfortable when you read them rather than it being an original, humorous storyline like in the Pratchett novels |

Hmmmm, that's good to know Mellow. Thanks. Anyone else out there read this parody book on LOTR and has any comment? _________________ "Get it?...Got it!...GOOD!" -- The Court Jester |

Well, let's see, since I just happen to have an extra $2.7 mil lying around...
I would turn it into a museum for all things Tolkien. {Possibly a great place for all ringers (TORn) to unite. I hope who ever buys it has enough sense to do something good with it.
Haven't read the paradoy but from the review here, probably won't. _________________ http://allthingstolkienandlewis.blogspot.com/
