I can't wait for the newer version of that site! There is a lot of info on there, people who have seen the film should take some time to read it... I was suckered into bits of the film (BFC) and its really nice to see some of the stuff pointed out in a new light... Especially the parts where Moore hops on his own site and argues about these people, these critics.  I think attacko wacko's??? What a dork... the best part was when they commented on moore wanting to arrest someone for the air pollution, they point out that the number of deaths in the U.S. are not caused by guns which was on the list. Smog wasn't but obesity was number one... Hmmm... More is a poster boy for obesity wouldn't you say? |

Yeah, that was a good site, Lego. Just to add to his point that people in Toronto apparently leave their doors unlocked... I've lived in Toronto, and I never knew anyone who did that. It's not that Toronto is really dangerous (although there are some dangerous ghettos), it's just that people are generally in the habit of locking their doors. The site also scores when it points out that Moore visited a small corner of Canada and made judgements about the whole country on that basis. Let me tell you, a lot of Canadians in Vancouver or Calgary hate Canadians from Toronto. It's not a very uniform culture. Not to mention that I strongly suspect that the rate of gun ownership per capita is probably quite a bit lower in southern Ontario than it is in, say, Alberta. It's the prairie people who got the most pissed off when the federal government introduced a gun registry. |

I eat fast food maybe once a month. But seriously, the people who get fat from it are probably getting fat because they ridiculous amounts. Granted I eat a lot, but I'm in my early twenties and hence have a higher metabolism. And I still keep my self healthy by exercise.
Also, the whole carb phobia is insane. You need carbs; it's really a matter of how much you eat and the calories.
