I've been wondering if the Personal Information page of a member (when clicking on their name from the Online Now area or through Member Search) could show their "Joined" date. This information is available when you see them in the forums, but not when you go to their info page.
My reason for wanting this is that sometimes we see people come to the chat area that we don't recognize and we'll send off a reminder to them to check the FAQs. Sometimes, these are longtime members, and sending that message to them shows some disrepect (at least that seems to be how it is received based on how they respond back). If we could easily check their Joined date, we could better tell a newbie from an old timer.
I've seen a number of old timers coming out of the shadows since the Requested By info was put on the Queued/Played list. I don't want to offend those that don't deserve it.

That'd probably be a good thing to add for everyone to see.
But on the other hand, if they're offended by being told to read a faq, that's there problem. And if you felt compelled enough to tell them to read it, then they probably should. (Even if they've read it before.)  |

Yes, some returning members haven't seen the FAQ, Part Deux, and should.
Hell, I should read it again soon. I'm probably violating two or three things in it right now

I highly recommend reading Cocles FAQ if they haven't- very enlightening.
And, reading the FAQ helped know where to find the answer to a question and get my computer fixed with out looking like an idiot on the chat or forums.
Although knowing how long they have been a member would be interesting.

TJ you have read my mind dude! I cam on to the forum tonight to request this very thing. I also would like to see it.
It is impossible to look up such information on the members list because of the size of it.

I had starting using the Member List's "Joined" filter (in descending order) to see the latest members, and that still works okay, but it's sometimes hard to spot the name, and they may have joined a week or so ago and not posted/chatted yet.
