Do you ever have those times when you're just in the mood for a movie where you don't have to think? A movie where you can just sit back and enjoy some pointless special effects, really corny acting or other form of mindless drivel? If so, what are some of your favorites?

Anyways, some of my picks in this catagory are Freddy vs Jason and Leprechaun in the Hood, both of which are modern day classics I might add Wink If you ever have a hour and a half to kill and need something moderatly entertaining I suggest checking them out.

Also, has anyone else seen this old movie from the 70's called, "The Devil within Her." It was soo corny I was cracking up, that's the most I think I've ever laughed at a movie. I literally had tears running down my face. Anybody? Cmon, someone back me up on this.......

Mindless science fiction action for the sake of it I think, Groove - Independence Day, Predator, The Last Starfighter, Lost In Space. I'm a sucker for sci-fi films - when I get to watch them, of course.

Ski School, definitely! Come to think of it, place any word before you have a good, 'Dumb' movie - i.e. Stewardess School, quality 'Dumb' entertainment!

Love ya!

Yeah, The Black Hole! Rented that from Netflix a few months ago. Desperate Star Wars rip off, the R2D2 ripoffs, the Stormtrooper rip offs. That Han Solo guy screaming, "Ya-hoo!" when he rescues the woman. Fun stuff. And John Berry's score is actually pretty cool.

Kung Pow is on my great dumb film list. And Kentucky Fried Movie. Dr. Klan rules.

Independence Day, that's about as dumb as I get. I don't like the really dumb ones (David, Spade, Adam Sandler, etc)

Armagedon. To be seen with friends. We usually end up rolling on the floor laughing.

Speaking of fun popcorn-movies to watch with a few friends:

Deep Blue Sea
Tremors (which is not that "dumb", actually)
Idle Hands
Final Destination
Shanghai Noon (because of that drinking game in the bathtub)
Mystery Men (That movie rocks! - if you're drunk or on drugs. Love Ben Stiller as Mr. Furios, and William H. Macy is a hell of a Shoveller.)

One of the dumbest movies of all time:

Orgazmo by Trey Parker.
