Just so I don't get any emails to where this soundtrack has gone I'm annoucing that it has been removed from the playlist. I also suggest that any complaints should be posted here.
It's been removed because it is one of the lowest rated soundtracks on SST. It also contains some foul language which isn't appropriate in a professional work environment. I also feel that it's too techno for the station.
I apologize to the people who liked it but they are the minority and there are plenty of other soundtracks to pick from. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

I actually am starting to like the whole techno/trance thing a little more... what bums me out is that I liked the tracks, other than the cursing. But I guess that's Hollywood these days: movies that would otherwise be acceptable to less mature audiences have enough F*** and S*** scattered around to make it absolutely certain to get an R rating... and make the kids want to see it that much more.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that I really enjoy SST, and while I'm not quite yet in a position to subscribe to Live365, I will be soon. You've done an incredible job with this site and the station, Jeric, and I for one definitely appreciate it.

I liked it, but glad it's gone, didn't feel it fit in.
So if we rate Chicago really low will it go? (Just kidding Jeric) _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

Wrong, studios vie for a PG-13 rating. Not an R.
Nice theory though. |

The soundtrack stunk. The reason for Jeric's decision is noble.
Wow ... a decision made reflecting a sense of decorum. How refreshing. _________________ For every complex issue in life there is a simple easy to understand and easy to apply wrong answer. |

Good choice.
Although I like the soundtrack, never requested it. I normally listen to it in my car.
I don't mind it's gone. _________________ In a world without justice, one man was chosen to protect the innocent. |

Dang, I liked that soundtrack. Will MY F*CKING KHAKIS be removed because it is not work appropriate either?
You shouldn't have said it was because of the language. Who gets to listen to music at work without headphones anyway? I'd be embarrassed if star wars started playing and I was listening to it outloud, hahaha. I'd just turn the volume down till it passed. Ummmm...
I think it's kind of sad that it gets removed because it's "not appropriate"...but you know me, I hate censorship and I hate political correctness. I mean, I never said that anywhere but it should be pretty obvious from my incredibly unprofessional and inappropriate demeanor around here.
You also know how I'm all like, yeah!! Get rid of Moulin Rouge! No more this! no more that! but it would kind of suck if whole soundtracks got omitted 'cause some dumbass like me didn't like 'em. Um, oh well, guess I'll shut up, but yeah, I did like that soundtrack... I mostly hate techno too. |

I gave a few reasons for its removal and you are focusing on only one of them gecko. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

Is Run Lola Run gone too or am I just not finding it?
And you know you can put a filter in that automatically changes swear words so you don't have to go and manually change it every time I cuss... whoever is doing it. |
