|
Today the timer went to 2/240. I know what this means, but the problem was that some of us already had a request in the queue before the timer got changed to this. We, the ones that already had a request in when it was 1/60, could not add a second request until our own timer, now bumped to 4 hours, on the single request expired. Once that timer expired, then we could do the 2 reqs in 4 hours, but not until our single request (made before the setting change took place) timed out.
I hope I explained this properly. |

I somewhat understand. I wanted to try something new, like a 2-for-Tuesday thing. Thanks for the feedback and I would appreciate more from anyone else. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

It would be nice if the request time limit and VIP mode changes were more automated. So we know that when the queue gets down to some amount (for some amount of time) that the limits will change and don't have to beg for the mercy of the admins.
There's probably more to it than that, so it wouldn't make sense to automate it, but there's my two cents anyway.
I did like the "2-for" thing. If I'm only going to get two requests in a day it's nice to have them closer together. _________________ All I ask is for a chance to prove that money can't buy happiness. |

Yes, I like the 2-fer too. It just messed me up when I was still timing out from my previous request.
I heard awhile back that there might be some combining of 2-fer (and 3-fers, etc) with VIP mode. That could work well. Have 2/240 for non-vips, 1/30 (or so) for vips, was the example I think I saw.
As always, thanks for this site and keep up the great work.

Automation WOULD be nice. In fact we almost had it but the script we were using crashed the whole server after running a while. Thanks for your 2-cents on the 2-for. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

*tries not to laugh*
I hate when that happens. I swear I didn't write this script, though. _________________ All I ask is for a chance to prove that money can't buy happiness. |

Does my request come along with a Domino pizza? _________________ Always wondered what a French photo album could look like?
