Does anyone have any idea when Jerry Goldsmith's Timeline score is released? I've heard that Varese are going to bring it out but have heard nothing since.

Is it going to be released then? His score is not used in the movie. Brian Tyler's is.

That's great to hear Jeric! You certainly have an impressive collection of JG scores so far! IT's been brilliant hearing music of his for the first time on SST.

What is your favourite JG score?

Mello,

We need more JG in there. Have you and Jeric heard "Islands in the Stream"? This is apparently Jerry's favorite.

Have only heard Islands In The Stream in passing (particularly on the Film Music Channel - thank Pete!). But it is beautiful and apparently Jerry got very emotionally involved in the film - perhaps that is one of the reasons why he likes it so much.

Incidentally, Jerry has also said Chinatown and Basic Instinct are other favourites of his (the expanded version of Basic Instinct is about to be released in the UK!)

Finding some of these wonderful scores on CD is a bit tricky unfortunately!

Good news on this one.

Along with regular titles:
