Hi,

I'm trying to find some soundtracks or songs that will help me get angry, steer my emotions, make me wanna do something.

The thing is, I'm taking this painting class and I need to express my feelings in my paintings, but have been unsuccessful. However, when I listen to music... it helps me.

For example, I've been listening to the Propellerhead's version for On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Also Dinosaur's The Carnotaur Attack.

Do you have any soundtrack songs that make you feel that way?

Please help.

I'd say it depends from person to person.

Here's some music I listen to when I'm doing my paintings:

"The Rite of Spring" by Stravinsky
"Music for Strings, Percussion and Celeste" by Bartòk
"The Last Samurai" by Zimmer
"Alien 3" by Goldenthal
"Predator" by Silvestri
"Total Recall" by Goldsmith
"The Fragile" by Nine Inch Nails

And if you like "On her Majesty's Secret Service", you'll probably like "The World is Not Enough" by David Arnold too.

The original being as good as it is, that would probably p*ss me off too... Smile Also, try Madonna's take on a Bond theme, I don't think that left any of the fans doing anything but gritting their teeth...

I find songs that annoy me make me angry: anything from Philip Glass, Totoro, Ghost in the Shell... Wink

I would look into things that have a driving beat, maybe Fight Club, Lost Highway, Run Lola Run. I also find that very powerful music gets my emotions going in a different way: Lord of the Rings- especially Return of the King, Glory, Van Helsing, Star Wars 6, certain themes from Star Trek and Back to the Future, Conan, etc...

Excellent suggestions! I will get those songs as soon as possible... I bet they will help me with my paintings and art.

Again, thank you very much for all your suggestions.
