What is Unearhted anyway? Is it a movie? I couldn't find any info on it at IMDb. What is it about? |

Cocles told me it's something that a lot of movies use in coming attractions. You know, because it sounds good, and the score for the film being advertised hasn't been completed yet. |

Well Cocles is right and wrong (sorry C). Yes Unearthed was designed and composed mostly as trailer music, but that’s not to say that the score for the movie is not complete. *C _________________ By responding in any way shape or form, you contractually agree that I’m right, and youre wrong. |

No, E.S. Posthumus is a DJ much like Moby when he was first starting out. Unearthed was NOT composed for the primary reason of being used as trailer music. It was composed in its own right; not as a soundtrack.
Second, as Zack pointed out, he was paraphrasing me. It is inappropriate (and believe me I'm an expert on inappropriate) to say I'm right or wrong when you can't even be sure what I said in the first place.
Trailers most often utilize music from other albums and films, because the film being advertised does not yet have a complete score.
Sure, there are times when the editor says, "Well hell, I really like this song and the producer said he'd pay the royalty, so hell, I'm gonna use it even though the film's own score has several sections ready to go!" But like I said before, my first reason is what happens most often... not always.
...And Eyedea, I hope you have been appreciating your week long Xmas gift, as a couple of your posts were real beasts to proofread. |

I'd just like to add that I've heard this a couple times during NFL football recently. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus
