|
Hope some can help. I heard a track from a score in HMV the other day - I know it was some kind of ST because I've heard it here. Problem Is I've no idea who it's by or from where.
It was a piano theme and had a continuing rolling piano accompanyment with an almost two tone lead over the top. Sorry for the rubbish description but does anyone have any idea what it might be?
On the Now Playing board they had Amelia displayed and a cd with a title of something like: music to relax to or something to that effect. But these now playing boards don't always speak the truth.
It was a lovely track. Please help!!

My apologies Cocles but I wasn't trying to be obtuse. HMV is the name of a CD shop in the UK. I think HMV is a literal abbreviation of His Master's Voice somehow relating to music. Dunno.
So you can see why the shop is just called HMV anyway!

Yeah, and you can see why those of us in the UK would have no idea what you're talking about. |

Well, it's quite difficult to say what it is. But i'll propose Yann Tiersen's "Amelie" soundtracks. Good luck! |

We have HMV in Canada as well. By the way Cocles, HMV came to the US in 1990 but closed it's last store I believe sometime this past spring/summer. One of them may still be open, I'm not sure, in Manhattan. _________________ "Get it?...Got it!...GOOD!" -- The Court Jester |

Thanks for the guess lancelot, it was Amelie... This is one of those early posts of mine that I'm a little ashamed of now. Seems a lttle churlish to ask people to identify a piece of music with that level of detail!
Ah well, you live and you learn. |
