Slang term...

If something "floats your boat" it goes along with your personal preferrence.

I like the Glass man - and i like him for The Hours. It's my "cup of tea", and it "floats my boat". Stupid Americans with their stupid slang terms and contractions. Laughing

Although I tend to be a pessimist, I think the Glass is half-full. Love Kundun, Koyaanisqatsi, Powaqqatsi, The Hours, Mishima and Dracula soundtracks. Others are hit or miss with me.

Sing along with me!

I truly enjoyed his scores for Candyman and Dracula, but when it came to Requiem for a Dream there was just something missing. He's definitely one of the few artists who I can't just buy a disk for his name (like Goldsmith or Elfman).
