FYI: Firefox 1.0 hits the streets tomorrow, 9 Nov, according to mozilla.org
(most of you FF users were probably using a RC anyway)

i thought it was already out, since i've had it for two months. Are the extensions going to be ready as well? that's why i had to go back down to .9.3 _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

The release candidates have been out for a while (technically 0.10.x) but now they're releasing a for real 1.0. Should be vastly better than 0.9, and all extensions should be updated for 1.0 soon (many are already done).

Yes, like Thur said...
Jeric, maximizing doesn't work. The ad at the top is set too wide. |

And make the forum windows smaller so it would fit the size of the screen? This way we would not have to scroll... _________________ Always wondered what a French photo album could look like?

they aren't w/ C's fix, so it's the google ads doing not the size of the forum. _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

Thur, you're not uninstalling and reinstalling the extension every time you accidentally change something are you? Just click Tools->Extensions and then double click on the name of the extension. It should open up a window that will allow you to change the settings (and delete filters for what you've accidentally added). No need to reinstall.
Of course, this is assuming you're using what I think you're using |

Yeah, uhm, Thur. We had a reason for not outright announcing how to do it. |

i'm using .9.3, and i went through all that and it still wouldn't fix it. The only thing that worked is uninstalling the extension. _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |
