Alexander: One friend wants to go and see it with me on Friday. My other friend says it is very very bad. So I'm turning to my SST friends. What do you all think? Should I go or should we change plans?

Haibane Renmei: the synopsis looks VERY appealing... Has anyone seen it? Is it sad?

I've only seen the first few episodes of Haibane Renmei, and I couldn't get into it. Maybe I should give it a chance, but the plot moved too slowly for me. It struck me as a show that was trying to impart cooperative values to young kids, plus the town was creepy. Who's seen the whole thing and can comment on it?
