Let's make listeners learn more about composers and soundtracks by creating a link to "SST games". Hopefully it could be computer generated so Jeric et al. would not have to work as much. Here are two examples I am thinking of:
1) multiple choice Quiz (10-20 questions)
Who composed "Soundtrack 3" (computer picks a soundtrack randomly in the database)?
-composer 1
-composer 2
-composer 3
-composer 4 (computer picks the composer associated with the soundtrack and adds 3 others picked randomly)
2) Match game
-soundtrack 1 -composer 3
-soundtrack 2 -composer 4
-soundtrack 3 -composer 2
-soundtrack 1 -composer 1
We could have composer/soundtrack/year of soundtracks/year of birth of the composer... I mean the ideas are endless but could require more or less work, I think.
Now, is that too childlish or that could be cool? Would that be too much work?... What do you all think? _________________ Always wondered what a French photo album could look like?

That actually sounds like fun! I actually need some brushing up on the New Composers, that and it will give our younger listoners the chance to learn about our composers that we grew up with. Excellent Idea Schroddie!! This looks to be a big project though. You'd need a couple of people to help you out, Plus extensive knowledge on Composers besides their birthdate. But still, I like it! _________________ "Two wrongs do not make a right, but three rights make a left"

That's a really awesome idea. I'll approach Sensei about it. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

we used to play something like that in chat - oh it was kind of like 6 degrees - you named an actor/actress and a movie they were in, then the next person had to name a DIFFERENT movie that actor was in etc I don't remember exactly, but bru would. _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

It's a really good idea, but making a game like that would require alot of both planning and coding, not to mention source material like text, pictures and sound clips. Best thing I can come up with is we start a "Games" or "Trivia" forum and users can post there themselves. _________________ Who is General Failure and why is he reading my disk? |
