I know I'm new here, and Ive looked around and not seen any time where the less known, online composers can send in stuff and get it played. For instance, Edgen, I think he might belong to the boards here, and I think quite a few people would like his stuff. (and don't think I'm trying to advertise for him)
There are many others, and if like once a month, they could play a few scores for an hour or so, I think that would be cool. |

thanks matt!! Ya, I'm know I'm a small fry in the composer world, but there's quite a few talented musicians who lurk on the web that have scored some wonderful music that is on par with many of the music played on here.
If that is the case, jeric, what would you need from me in order to get started? Or.. from others like me that would like to possibly submit work too.

Sounds like we're moving toward a "SST Members hour" idea, perhaps in addition to "Amature hour"

I used the term "Amature Hour" lightly, cause I used Edgen as an example. To me, he is higher than "amature status."
I just thought it would be cool to get whoever is still on there way up to get some tracks in, that way the listeners can hear what there "peers" are doing, and some less known composers/scorers can get some airtime.
I think "SST Members hour" is a more fitting name actually. But hey, I'm just glad people like the idea, wherever it may go...

Edgen, I really like what you do! I just wish they were more "previews" available
Just did "refresh" and more previews came up  great!!!

Nothing in the immediate plans, however after I get settled in I plan to bring more fun stuff like this to the site.
