I'm trying to use one of those nifty animated avatars, but I can't seem to get it to work. Is there some secret I need to know? Thanks! |

I have found out that there are some URLs that will not work if you try to point to a graphic you want to use as an avatar. I was looking for a place to store my own created avatars, so I just threw them on a free site, but they wont work with this board, or I havent made them work correctly.
has anybody else had any problems linking to an avatar graphic using a URL? |

Sometimes people think they have problems and they don't becuase of the board has it's own chache system to reduce bandwidth and resources. It's best to try an image and if you see it when you select it and not in your posts yet, just try to be patient and wait a couple days for it to appear. Kinda weird, I know.

I had some trouble linking to an avatar too. I waited for almost two weeks, but no new avatar showed up... I needed a Gladiator to make things happen. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

But I fixed Sensei's "problem" by clearing the board's cache.
