|
We’re changing servers again soon. So, this means…
Bad News: All the song statistics will be reset. The ratings will remain but the amount a song has been played and requested will be reset. This includes the Top 100 Requested.
Good News: I can easily clean up all the little bugs in the playlist. So if you find a misspelling, tracks listed twice, obvious improper capatilization, or anything else (I don’t care how minor it is), please post it in this sticky thread. I will be making the changes offline so you won’t notice them until the server changes.
I will keep this sticky open to act as a permanent place to post playlist bug reports, even after the server move. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

Hello Jeric! There are few errors in "Bandyta" cues (by Michal Lorenc).
#1 "Mro Ito" - in fact named "Mro Iło" I'm not sure if polish letters are available but even without them "Mro Ilo" would be much closer to real title than "Mro Ito" - Just like Lorenc - composer - is listed as Michal and not Michat). "l" sounds in polish very similar to "ł".
#3 "Brute Elena" - in fact named "Brute i Elena" (it means "Brute and Elena" so I don't think Elena was brute )
#5 "Temat Eleny Na Cymbaty": Same problem with polish letter "ł". "Cymbały" is properly. "Cymbaly" would be much closer to real title. "Cymbaty" is totally wrong.
#6 "Gory" - "Góry" if possible
#7 "Kradziez Pistoletu" - "Kradzież..." if possible
#10 "Porwanie Lorgu" - in fact "Porwanie Iorgu" (Iorgu is a balkan male name)
#11 "Moscu i Tatuaz" - "... I Tatuaż" if possible
#12 "Gory W Stoncu" - Polish title: "Góry w Słońcu", or at least "Gory w Sloncu" - still without polish letters but much closer to original
#13 "Pogon, Lekarstwa, Karabiny" - "Pogoń..." if possible
#14 "Requiem Batkanskie" should rather be named ...Bałkanskie" (Balkan) or at least "...Balkanskie".
#19 "Elegia Na Smierc Szpitala" - "...Śmierć..." if possible
#22 "Powrot" - "Powrót"
#24 "Mro Ito Wariant II" - again I suggest "Mro Iło" or "Mro Ilo"
By the way:
letter "ó" = right "alt" + O
letter "ł" = right "alt" + l
letter "ś", "ż" and "ć" are "s", "z" and "c" together with "alt"
I'm not sure what is possible to achieve with all this unusual polish letters because when I type this message I can see all polish letters I use, and I'm not sure if it works the same for everybody who reads this at the forum |

If polish letters could be used there could be more adjustments to make in Kilar's and Preisner's soundtracks. |

So many new nice albums, so great! Thanks, JERIC!
I found two little mistakes in the latest release:
"Record Of Lodoss War - TV - OST 1" is not from the TV series, actually, but from the old OVA (see http://www.altpop.com/stc/reviews/reclodossost1.htm for details)
A SQL glitch has mixed Giant Robot and the Jungle Book together. That's funny Request from Giant Robot to see what I mean This also makes the Jungle Book to appear twice in the search (correct & mixed one)
Great job anyway! _________________ "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe" - Blade Runner |

Record Of Lodoss War - TV - OST 3
The Probationer And The Priestress
Not sure, but that might be "priestess" - never can tell with imports, though! |

Just keeping everything in one place so I can keep track. Thank you for the corrections so far!

First of all, thank you for adding this ST I love being able to make requests for albums and seeing them added, it really makes me feel like my voice is being heard.
I noticed that Disney's Jungle Book was added so I tried to request from it; however, it looks like it is being mixed with the Basil Ploedouris version. Therefore, the songs are not avaiable... Only the Ploedouris songs are.
Thanks in advance for your help |

The Alamo: The Essential Film Music Collection (2004).
Today someone requested Track #44 "Rawhide".
"Rawhide" showed up in the Now Playing box, but what we heard was #46 "Night Passage: Follow The River". |

Yes, Two.. there´s a massive jumble concerning this Dimitri Tiomkin Collection.
I own this 4 CD set... and everything´s OK ´til The Guns of Navarone, which has on the real album a running time of 9:37. It´s seems as if the whole track is missing.
When you request the beautiful It´s a Wonderful Life you hear the dissonant The Thing from Another World; when you pick the cue Davy Crockett (2:32) from The Alamo Suite you get to hear the lengthy The Battle of the Alamo... and so on.
And last but not least, two songs at the end of the album are missing: The Ballad of Jim West and The Wild Wild West from the TV show with the same name.
Is there something you can do about it, JERIC?
