I use Post-it notes as well, but in a different way. Since I have almost no self-control when it comes to chat, I put a little one over the Chat box to help avoid temptation when I need to work and stay in Lurk-mode. It helps about 50% of the time. 
Also, when the queue is getting long, I avoid requesting by putting another Post-it on the monitor with the symbol for "no" (circle with slash thru it). SST is just so darn addictive and fun, it's hard to have any self-control - LOL.
Yup, I have an Excel DB of faves, too.... along with 3-4 notepads and hundreds of scraps of paper in a zip-loc bag. |

So... Should I even start this thread again or should this just be locked, so the same vicious cycle won't start again?
Cause I would also be interested on marking my favourites. I can't keep any papers with me, cause I move along so many times to other computers and that also cuts out the text-file idea too.
Just to bring this up again... |

It's fine to bring things like this up again. That lets us know it's still important to you. I'll be honest though it's not the highest on the list of priorities but we can look into it again next year.

Personally I just save the web site of albums I like and cross out and rate the songs I already heard.
